IMAGINED OTTOMAN: THE SOCIOLOGICAL IMAGINATIONS IN THE FELATUN BEY İLE RÂKIM EFENDİ NOVEL
Turkish literature introduced with the novel as a literary genre during the Tanzimat Period. In the novels written in this period, the authors mostly focused on the social problems of the period. Ahmet Mithat Efendi's Felatun Bey ile Râkım Efendi novel also contains elements related to the social life of the period. In this research, sociological images in conceptual, individual, social and spatial level are examined in Felatun Bey ile Râkım Efendi novel.
