AN AUTHOR WHO TAKES MODERNISM AS BASIS: BİLGE KARASU, A MODERNISTIC STORY: ODALARDAN BİRİ
Bilge Karasu is an author who takes modernism as basis. Although modern Turkish literatures tarted with Tanzimat, modernization process has been periodically percepted and advanced in various forms. Modernism transformed initially narration techniques and then content during the XXth century. One of the stories demonstrating the injlection of modernism on narration techniques and the modern individual of modernismt hat has intermingled with Existentialism in Turkey notably after 1950's is "Odalardan Biri" by Bilge Karasu. In this study, a story with the basis of modernism is analysed in a text-centric method.
