TURKISH MEN OF LETTERS IN KEMAL TAHİR'S WORKS
Kemal Tahir is one of the leading social realist writers of Turkish literature, frequently mentioned for his thought system, personality and works. Tahir, while voicing his views on the social and political life in his corpus comprising novels, stories and other prose, also commented on Turkish men of letters and/or their works. ln this study, determining the relations he formed between the periods in which Kemal Tahir's works were written, or those to which references are made and the Turkishm en of letters;t he portraito fa native intellectual conceived by the author is analyzed.
